challenges are allowed for the time being, but please let's keep it simple and keep it down to two apps per character. this allows for one challenge per character.
initial holds are going to be honored until the game opens; once first adds have been completed, holds will then be for 48 hours only.
anon holds are only honored for the first 24 hours. we've seen too many games have problems because they got 50 anon holds and no one came back. if you don't comment back with a journal within 24 hours of placing your anon hold, your role will be up for grabs. this is to keep the rolehogs from starting early.

we don't want elitism here.
having pride for your writing abilities is one thing, but refusing to play with someone based on their layout, icons, un or any other aesthetic is a little ridiculous. while we strive for realism here, we want to promote activity, creativity and fun, so we encourage everyone to mingle.
examples - we ask for examples, mostly so that we are certain that you are able to portray a character at least somewhat accurately - we won't jump on you for your particular characterization here, but we ask that if you're playing a 25 year old, please have them act like a 25 year old and not a 12 year old. unless, of course, they're known for having that attitude in the real world, then have at it. we also want to make sure that you have decent spelling and grammar. by that, we don't mean that we care whether or not you capitalize, but we'd like to make sure that you know how to string sentences together coherently. if you possess such knowledge, and are able to abide by the golden rules of rp, you should have no problem gaining acceptance here.
updating and activity - for the moment, the update limit is every two weeks. this may seem like a small amount of time, but we want to ensure that our community is active. we've set up a referral system that will enable your update limit to increase once certain criteria is met. also in place is a update pass contest.
other things that can lead to your removal are: not introing within the required three days and/or showing only the barest signs of activity (aka updating only every four weeks to avoid removal). we understand that not every celeb is outgoing and open for everyone to read, but you should show some sign that you want to be a part of the game.
